Wie einige von euch vielleicht wissen, habe ich einige Zeit damit verbracht Plugins für die Forensoftware bbPress zu entwickeln. Dies habe ich eigentlich aus dem Grund gemacht, weil ich dachte bbPress wäre Zukunft und es würde sich lohnen Zeit darin zu investieren.

Leider ist die Entwicklung der Software selbst in den letzten Monaten ziemlich eingeschlafen und es macht einfach keinen Spaß Plugins für eine tote Software zu schreiben.

Also hab ich beschlossen die Weiterentwicklung meiner Plugins erst wieder aufzunehmen, wenn das nächste große Release von bbPress erschienen ist.

I just wanted to give you a quick overview of what you’ll get with version 2. You can look at this screenshot of the acp-section. It’s still a mockup so it will possibly change to the final version.

I finally finished version 1.2 of my admin add user plugin. There aren’t any big improvements, just one small new feature: users can be notified about their “registration” on the forums.

So actually I went through the whole bbPress forums to collect all the ideas, the people suggested for my post notification plugin. The new version 2.0 will have the following features:

• No notification on own posts / topics
• Add own topic to favorites when starting a new one
• Add topic to favorites directly when replying
• Notify on every new post on the whole board
• Notify only Moderators and Keymasters
• Add whole forums to favorites
• Configure everything through adminpanel and userpanel
